5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies enable core functions such as page navigation, security and the booking flow. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Marketing cookies, where used, help measure campaign performance.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site, including booking, from working.
6. Marketing communications
We send program announcements, newsletters and related content only where you have opted in, or where you are an existing customer and the content relates to programs similar to those you have attended.
Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also email booking@intelliaccelerate.com to opt out at any time. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about a booking you have made.
Where you contact us on WhatsApp, we will use that channel to respond to your enquiry and to send booking-related messages. We will not send marketing on WhatsApp unless you have agreed.
7. Photography, video and audio at our programs
We photograph and record sessions to document our work, support participant learning, and for marketing.
We display notice of recording at the point of registration and at the venue. If you do not wish to appear, tell us in writing before the session or notify the facilitator on the day, and we will take reasonable steps to exclude you. In wide-angle and group shots, complete exclusion cannot always be guaranteed.
Where we intend to feature you individually and identifiably in marketing, we will seek your consent first. For any participant under 18, we obtain written consent from a parent, guardian or the sponsoring institution before any capture or use.
If material featuring you is already published and you want it removed, contact us and we will remove it from channels under our control within a reasonable period.
8. Where your data is stored and transferred
Our service providers, including Stripe, Cloudflare, our email platform and our hosting provider, operate infrastructure outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States and the European Union. Your personal data will therefore be transferred outside the UAE.
Where we transfer personal data to a country that has not been designated by the UAE Data Office as providing an adequate level of protection, we rely on contractual safeguards with the recipient requiring standards of protection equivalent to those under UAE law, or on another lawful transfer condition under the PDPL, including your consent or the necessity of the transfer for performing our contract with you.
You may request details of the safeguards applying to a specific transfer by contacting us.
9. How long we keep your data
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Booking, invoicing and payment records | 5 years from the end of the relevant tax year, to meet UAE tax record-keeping requirements |
| Attendance and certificate records | 5 years, to support certificate verification and accreditation audits |
| Enquiries that do not lead to a booking | 24 months from last contact |
| Marketing contact details | Until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record indefinitely so we do not re-contact you |
| Dietary and accessibility information | Deleted within 30 days of the event |
| Session work product and exercise content | 12 months, unless anonymised |
| Feedback and survey responses | 36 months in identifiable form, then aggregated |
| Event photography and video | Duration of use plus 3 years, or until consent is withdrawn |
| WhatsApp and email correspondence | 24 months from last contact, unless it relates to a booking |
Where data is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit (TLS), access controls limiting staff access to those who need it, use of reputable processors, and secure handling of payment data through Stripe so that card details never reach our systems.
No system is perfectly secure. Where a personal data breach occurs that is likely to prejudice your privacy, confidentiality or security, we will notify the UAE Data Office and, where required, notify you, in accordance with the PDPL.
11. Your rights
Subject to conditions and exceptions under UAE law, you have the right to:
- be informed about how we process your data, which this policy provides
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- request deletion of your data, where we no longer have a lawful basis to retain it
- restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances, including direct marketing
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
- request transfer of data you provided to us, in a structured, machine-readable format, where technically feasible
- object to automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, though we do not carry out such processing
To exercise any right, email booking@intelliaccelerate.com. We will respond within 30 days, and will tell you if we need longer and why. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting.
There is no charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive.
12. AI tools used in our programs
Our programs involve hands-on use of third-party generative AI tools such as OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot.
Anything you type into those tools during a session goes directly to that provider and is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy, not this one. We have no visibility of, and no control over, what you enter or what the provider does with it.
We instruct participants not to enter personal, confidential, client-privileged or regulated data into these tools, and to use anonymised or illustrative examples for exercises. Please follow that instruction and your own employer's AI usage policy.
We do not use your personal data to train any AI model, and we do not supply your personal data to AI providers for training purposes.
13. Children
Our website and public programs are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the website.
Where we deliver a program to students under 18 through an educational institution, we do so under arrangements with that institution, collecting only what is needed and obtaining consent from a parent, guardian or the institution as appropriate.
If you believe we hold data about a child that we should not, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Third-party websites
Our website links to third-party sites including Amazon, WhatsApp and social media platforms. This policy does not apply to them. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published here with a "Last updated" date. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the site before it takes effect.
16. How to complain
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, contact us first at booking@intelliaccelerate.com. We would rather resolve it directly.
If you remain dissatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office, the federal authority responsible for personal data protection.
